Robotics Competition

In Grade 11, I continued in the VEX Robotics club, same number, but this time named Elevator Elevator.

In Grade 10, I joined the ISB VEX Robotics club, competing under 86832B, or Robust.

I played the official roles of programmer and builder.

I also played the unofficial role of graphic designer, creating a brand identity for our team, making us a first in the history of ISB Robotics.

Since I was a wee lad, I’ve always held a profound fascination with international schools. I could tell you a fun fact about every international school & department in Beijing. One day, I decided to channel this weird obsession, and “create” an international school myself! Being an avid designer and a full-time weird person, I made these assets:

I also decided to dip my toes into web design, making this the first formal website I’ve created without the use of content management systems like Wordpress or Drupal:

“School” website: https://www.BHISChina.org/

At this point, working on this project had become a bit of an obsession, so I also utilized my knowledge on self-hosting and server deployment to set up Moodle (Learning Management System), RosarioSIS (Student information System) and SMTP mail instances using CPanel & HestiaCP.
